[3b.63] Actions <which> flee into oblivion, may be held here fast by a letter. Thus I transmit the present writing to the knowledge of present and future persons, that I, D., for the love of God and for the remedy of my soul have granted to the cleric P., who wishes to attain the priesthood, the liberty which he has not obtained by nature. My wife and children have also furnished assent to his manumission and have granted him liberty from now on. But this condition is present: his possessions shall return into our lordship after his death. Witnesses of this matter are A., B. and C.
