1 Sender complains that Raoul de Faye, the seneschal of Aquitaine has devasted his land and asks addressee to summon him to court. 

2 Raoul de Faye, count of Saintonge, seneschal of Aquitaine and uncle of Eleanor of Aquitaine. He was excommunicated for depredations against church property. La Faye is located in county of Angouleme (dep. Charente, W. of Ruffec).
