[2] In suum hostibus exitum fenestram aperit, qui suorum terram non defendit.

[3] Comes .T. in me non fovet odium, nisi quia tibi adhesi eo spreto. Inde est, quod terram meam populatur. Vicos ergo villas sepeliens in favillis.

[4] Festina ergo subsidium. Me namque subiugato expeditus sibi erit ad civitatem tuorum corpora comeatus.


1 A count complains to the king that count T. has devasted his land and burned the neighboring villages, because of his adhesion to the king. He asks for royal help.
