[39.] PROLOGUE ON CONFIRMATIONS

[39.1] Because privileges and confirmations regularly stand together under a single title and prologue, like the two principal limbs of one body, a prooemium or pictorial composition of words should not be used here. Whence I pass over in haste to confirmations, compiling the chapters in order and resolving them accordingly as the Omnipotent will supply me.

[39.2] WHAT CONFIRMATION IS. ETYMOLOGY OF 'CONFIRMATION'. HOW MANY SPECIES OF CONFIRMATION THERE ARE. WHO MAY LAWFULLY MAKE AND REVOKE CONFIRMATIONS.
